Another summer in the books!
Toronto has had so many crazy hip hop events this summer. Events such as the sold out DVSN show at the Mod Club, Drake’s OVO Fest, Kanye’s Saint Pablo Tour and Puffy’s Bad Boy Reunion tour that just recently took place.
Now that the summer is over….what’s next?
Here are the three hip hop events that you need to check out in the next few months:
Chance the Rapper @ TD Echo Beach in Toronto (09/27/2016)
If you can’t stop listening to his new album Coloring Book then you’ll want to be at TD Echo beach at the end of September. He’s from Chicago and he’s probably your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper since everyone seems to have fallen in love with his new album.
There seems to be a discrepancy between the event dates since he’s only set to perform on September 27th but I saw online that he’s also set to perform on September 28th.
Majid Jordan @ Sound Academy (11/10/2016 & 11/11/2016)
The November 10th concert has been sold out for awhile now and they’ve added a second concert in which tickets are still available for the last time I checked but it will certainly sell out. The concerts are going to take place in Ink Entertainment’s new Rebel venue which will make the show even better because of its brand new systems.
Tory Lanez @ Sound Academy (11/30/2016 & 12/05/2016)
I remember his last concert at the Hoxton and Tory Lanez was rapping to the crowd while hanging from the ceiling pipes. What can I say, Tory Lanez has amazing stage presence and is new album “I Told You” is NICE and you’ll get to hear it from the amazing sound system of Ink Entertainment’s newest venue Rebel.
We all know that the summer season is behind us but that doesn’t mean that the party should stop right?
